Meet Brian Basler

Hello Park family,
My name is Brian Basler. My wife Cathy and I first came to Park in 1993 when the church was one location in Lincoln Park. When the Park Near North church building was built our family enjoyed worshipping and serving until we were part of a new church launch at Park Forest Glen. I love the community at Park and are encouraged with all God is doing in the churches.
As God has grown me throughout my Christian journey, I have served in a variety of areas and more recently, as a local church elder for seven years. Cathy and I love encouraging other marriages and families and serve together in Park’s marriage ministry.
I've called the Chicagoland area home for my entire life and have lived in the city for 32 years. Cathy and I have three young adult children who all were born and raised in Albany Park. For work, I've enjoyed helping to lead a growing family metal components business and love the manufacturing side.
My prayer is for our family of churches to support each other by sharing the gospel in our communities and out to the furthest places.
