Park Community Church – Lincoln Park is located in the heart of the Lincoln Park neighborhood. Join us each Sunday as we seek to know God and make Him known.

Each message series is carefully designed with someone like you in mind: real people who are looking for real answers to issues they face everyday. At Park, we teach God’s timeless truths from the Bible that speak to your life in relation to your friends, family, career, and relationship with Jesus. If it relates to your life and if it is important for today, you can be sure that we are talking about it at Park.

We believe what matters is what’s inside a person, not what’s on the outside. At Park, we feel people should be able to come as they are and not feel judged. If you dress up or dress down, either way, you will find yourself welcomed by people who genuinely care about you.

Free parking is available in the main side parking lot off Webster at Francis Parker School or in the second lot off Clark, which is just north of school building (take the alley off Clark before Belden east until it dead ends and then go right). Street parking on Clark is free on Sundays. If you don’t have a car, click here for directions via public transportation.

Loop Kids is our ministry for children from birth to 5th grade. Loop Kids meets during the Sunday morning gatherings and teaches the Bible in a fun and engaging way.

Park 101

PARK 101
Whether this is your first week or you’ve been around for a while, but not yet connected, this class is for you! Come learn about the history, mission, and vision of Park.

For upcoming class times, check out the the events section!

Small Groups

Park's vision is to be a biblical community where the gospel of Jesus Christ transforms lives, renews the city, and impacts the world. Small groups are a key way to build this biblical community! In our Park-LP small groups, we see the gospel of Jesus Christ transform our lives as we read and apply the Bible to our lives, pray together, and seek to make God known in our workplaces, homes, and neighborhoods.

+ Join a Small Group

Interested in joining a small group? Stop by the next Park 101 to learn more and sign up for a group! You can also learn more about small groups at the Connect table after our morning worship gathering.

Baptism is our outward expression of our inward faith. It is a way to publicly declare that you are a follower of Christ. If you have never been baptized as a believer, learn more about what Jesus says on this topic.

As followers of Christ, we are called to serve – and when we serve, we grow! We want to invite you to use your gifts and to join one of our growing teams that help create an environment where people can connect with others, hear the Word of God, and worship Jesus. There are many open roles to serve at Park, and we would love to help you use your talents and experiences to lead, care for, and mobilize the church of God. Begin by filling out this form today, and our team will be in touch with you soon!

Giving is an act of worship. It recognizes God as the owner and source of all we have. It is our cheerful response to God in praise of His radical generosity towards us. You can give in person during our weekly services, or you can give online below or by texting “ParkGive” to 62953.

Our mission is simple: We exist to know God and to make Him known, and we get to do that together as one body. Membership at Park is more than just attending meetings and gatherings. Membership is for those who desire to commit to a spiritual family and to the vision here at Park.

We believe God desires to accomplish great things through Park Community Church. Lives change when they come in contact with the grace of Jesus, and we see life change happening all around us at Park. We invite you to prayerfully consider partnering with us in this work of God, and we are confident that He will complete the work He has begun in, among, and through each of us.

If you are ready to call Park Community Church your church home, we would love to invite you to attend an upcoming Membership Class to learn more about our mission, vision, and how you can join our church family and partner with us in the Gospel.

Don't believe in God? Given up on church? Just curious? Alpha gives everyone an opportunity to ask the tough questions about life and God in a safe setting. Alpha consists of ten sessions that freely explore the basics of the Christian faith. Each evening begins with a dinner, followed by a short talk, and ends with a discussion where you can share your thoughts and ask any questions. No question is too basic or too big.

Loop Kids is our ministry for children from birth to 5th grade and meets during the Sunday 10 AM gathering.

+ Child Dedication

We believe that life is a gift that comes from the awesome and mighty God we serve. In living with our mission as a church, child dedication is about our parents knowing God and making Him known to their children. It is also about our church family partnering with those parents and supporting their families.

Although city living can prove to be challenging, we believe there could not be a better place for families than in the city! The family ministry works to provide families with resources and encouragement to thrive in the city of Chicago.

Throughout God's Word, it is clear that He has a heart for the Nations.

"May God be gracious to us and bless us and make his face shine on us so that your ways may be known on earth, your salvation among all nations." Psalm 67:1-2

Part of our vision statement at Park is to impact the world with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Impacting the world is part of the call for each Christ follower to live on mission and many opportunities exist locally and overseas. Park is also committed to a Global vision to mobilize, send and sustain 100 disciple-makers to the Unreached by September 1, 2022. Living in a multi-cultural city offers such a unique opportunity to engage with the Nations in our own backyard.

Park's Global team seeks to mobilize every person at Park to take their next step in becoming a Global follower of Christ. The Global ministry offers several ways to be involved cross-culturally including helping refugees locally, building friendships with international students, going on an overseas ministry trip, taking the Perspectives class, regularly praying for unreached people groups and the nations, supporting Global Partners, etc. Click the button below to email Cheryl for more information on how to be involved globally.

We gather to learn from God’s word and to challenge each other to live as men of wisdom and purpose. Get connected through various events and sources of community, including small groups, Men’s Breakfast, chili cook-offs, Authentic Manhood, retreats and other events. Invest in a community and learn how to walk along each other and grow as men of faith.

There are so many voices out there that are telling you what it means to be a man. Discover God’s design for men with a clear definition and inspiring vision of Authentic Manhood. As men, we need this understanding. Join the movement of men at Park and experience the transformation of Authentic Manhood.

Students@Park exists to help students develop an authentic relationship with Jesus and pursue the mission for which they were created. We offer weekly gatherings where students can engage in the Word in both large and small group settings, monthly events where students build relationships with leaders and each other, and seasonal events where students have an opportunity to serve, grow and engage their faith. We would love for you to join us this week!

Our lives exist in various environments – work, home, church, school – and our prayer is that the women at Park will live for God’s glory and live on mission in those spheres of influence. Get connected and attend events such as potlucks, bible studies, morning coffee, and other events.

+ Women@Park
Women@Park events provide spaces where women of all ages are equipped to pursue God and to grow in our faith in Jesus. We gather to develop relationships and gracefully live in authentic community with one another. We are committed to creating a safe place to bravely share our stories and share in each other’s struggles, hopes, desires, disappointments, failures and victories. Together, we encourage one another to become more like Christ and to draw our strength and identity from Him.

+ Moms@Park
We want to empower women to seek a relationship with Jesus first and foremost, and then to see His influence and love flow through them to their families. Moms@Park meets weekly in smaller groups. We gather to learn about and study the Word, to invest time in building relationships, and to pray together. Also, there are occasional fun outings or service projects to invest in each another and our communities.

Below are some resources we would like to share with you that we have found beneficial! This doesn't mean we affirm every aspect of everything we have referenced, but we have found them to be helpful and hope they encourage you too.  Keep in mind—no book, blog post, or sermon should replace the word of God.  All humans are subject to error, so be sure to use these as a supplement to the Bible, not a substitute.
