Logan Square

Church in the Square began as a location of Park Community Church on March 27, 2016. After over two years of gathering on Sundays, meeting in homes through the week, and serving the neighborhood, the elders of both Park Community Church and Church in the Square sensed God’s call for Church in the Square to become a new and autonomous church. And so on Sunday, September 2, 2018 Church in the Square will gather for the first time at Monroe Elementary School in Logan Square.

Small Groups

SMALL GROUPS
Small groups are our primary avenue for discipleship, designed for us to be trained in the gospel through studying the Scriptures, praying together, serving our neighbors, and building friendships for God’s purposes.

Serve

SERVE
As followers of Christ we are called to serve. And there are many ways to serve the church and serve as a church. Begin by filling out an application by clicking the link below and our team will be in touch soon!

Give

GIVE
Giving is an act of worship. When we give we confess that money doesn’t own us, Jesus does. And when we surrender to Jesus as Lord his kingdom comes and his will is done in Logan Square and the world as it is in heaven.

CHILDREN'S MINISTRY
Our ministry for children from birth through 5th grade meets during the 10 AM and 12 PM gatherings.

+ What is the children’s ministry all about?
The Children’s Ministry of Park Community Church in Logan Square exists to bring Glory to God by partnering with parents to make disciples! We do through developmentally appropriate gospel-centered worship, providing a fun and safe environment, and fostering intentional relationships.

+ What will the kids be doing each Sunday?
The children’s ministry of Logan Square meets during the main worship gathering, and we engage the kids in worshiping the Lord through praise, offering, study of the Word, and time spent in community! The kids will be learning the same gospel truths that are preached in the main gathering in developmentally appropriate ways each Sunday ready to go home with their parents and grow in the knowledge of the Lord together!

+ Child Dedication
Child Dedication is the public declaration from a child’s parents that they are going to raise their kids in the fear of the Lord. As a community we believe that life is a gift that comes from the Lord, and child dedication is an opportunity for parents to commit to raising their child in a Christian home in front of friends, family, and their church community.
