Proclaiming the Gospel of Jesus Christ to all People Until There is No Place Left
Park Community Church was founded in 1989 out of Moody Church with the vision of creating a gospel-centered church for 20-year-olds in Lincoln Park, Chicago. Since its inception, Park has grown from being one church in one neighborhood to 16 churches in eight neighborhoods of Chicago and has sent nearly 50 people to serve in places around the world with little to no gospel presence.
Although our vision has changed over the years, the mission has always been to reach those around us with the gospel of Jesus Christ. It's what we do, whether it's through our local churches, through our church planters here in the city, or through our global partners around the world.

At Park, we believe in the importance of family, and with that, our interdependence strengthens and accelerates our ability to proclaim the gospel.
As a family of churches, we have a commission from Matthew 28:19 to bring the Good News to all people and to all places across the world so that they can know Jesus and follow him. You're invited to join us in our mission to make disciples, equip the saints, send them out, and spread far and wide.
