Equip the Saints. Lead with Purpose.
At Park Community Church, we believe every believer has been uniquely gifted by God, and that those gifts are meant to be used for His church and His mission. The Biblical Leadership Catalyst (BLC) exists to make that a reality. The BLC is a church-wide leadership development program open to members across all Park locations. Each year, a new cohort of participants is personally selected and invited by their local pastors and elders. Over approximately 5 months, participants journey through an immersive experience designed to grow them into leaders rooted in scripture.
During the Cohort Experience (11 weeks), participants study biblical leaders exploring how God shaped and used each of them. They also complete personal assessments (Motivation Code and CliftonStrengths) to better understand their unique wiring, and eventually share their personal leadership stories. In the "Go & Do" phase (6–8 weeks), participants pause from regular cohort meetings to apply what they've learned through a real ministry project, serving a Park church or a ministry partner. Throughout the entire cohort, every participant is supported by a dedicated mentor who walks alongside them, asks good questions, and helps them discern where God is calling them next. The BLC has run since Fall 2020, with over 100 participants from every Park region. Alumni consistently report feeling more connected to their church leadership and more confident in their calling. Many continue to serve and lead in meaningful ways long after completing the program.
